Baba Jamal Disburses Over GH¢200,000 in Tertiary Education Support to Ayawaso East Students

According to the MP, the latest disbursement represents the third batch of students to benefit from the initiative since he assumed office in March 2026.
Accra, September 16, 2026 — Member of Parliament for Ayawaso East, Mohammed Baba Jamal Ahmed, has announced the provision of financial assistance to tertiary students in the constituency under his Tertiary Support Scheme. According to the MP, the latest disbursement represents the third batch of students to benefit from the initiative since he assumed office in March 2026. Baba Jamal said more than 40 tertiary students have so far received educational assistance amounting to over GH¢200,000, funded through his GETFund allocation. The latest presentation was held at his constituency office along the Kanda Highway, where beneficiaries received cash support to help ease some of the financial pressures associated with tertiary education. The MP said the initiative forms part of his commitment to reducing the financial burden on parents while creating opportunities for young people in the constituency to pursue higher education.
