Kumasi hospital opens expanded children's emergency wing

The new wing doubles the number of emergency beds available for children and adds a dedicated neonatal resuscitation area.

Hospital management said the expansion responds to rising patient numbers from the Ashanti, Bono and Northern regions. Parents at the opening said the change was long overdue.
