Ghana, Finland Explore Stronger Trade and Investment Ties

The High Commissioner of Ghana to Nigeria, H.E. Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu, received the Ambassador of Finland to Nigeria, H.E. Ms. Sanna Selin, who is also accredited to Ghana, during a courtesy visit.
Ghana and Finland are looking to deepen their bilateral relations, with a recent meeting focusing on trade, investment and cooperation in key areas of their economies.
The High Commissioner of Ghana to Nigeria, H.E. Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu, received the Ambassador of Finland to Nigeria, H.E. Ms. Sanna Selin, who is also accredited to Ghana, during a courtesy visit.
The two diplomats discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in sectors including technology, energy, mining and agro-processing, as well as opportunities to expand trade and investment between the two countries.
They also considered areas of collaboration at the multilateral level, with emphasis on working together on issues of mutual interest.
High Commissioner Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu assured the Finnish envoy of Ghana’s willingness to support Finnish businesses looking to explore investment and partnership opportunities in the country.
The meeting highlights the growing interest in strengthening economic ties between Ghana and Finland and creating more opportunities for businesses and investors from both countries.
